Ministry of Health, Environment and Sustainability townhalls on programme of legislative reform

The Ministry of Health, Environment and Sustainability invites members of the media to attend two community townhall meetings on proposed legislative reforms that will modernise the country’s health legislation and strengthen how the Cayman Islands protects the health and wellbeing of current and future generations.

The townhalls are the final two meetings in a consultation programme that has covered all three islands, providing information to the public and gathering feedback on the proposed reforms. The two meetings will focus on the proposed health legislation and the wider legislative package, respectively.

Venue: Constitution Hall, George Town

Members of the public who wish to provide feedback on the proposed legislation are encouraged to visit publicconsultation.gov.ky

Media representatives will have an opportunity to capture photographs and video footage of the townhalls and speak with Ministry representatives about the proposed legislative reforms.
