Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating missing teen Tashaena Williams, age 15. Tashaena Williams left her Bodden Town address on Monday, 15 September, to attend school and did not return home.
Tashaena Williams was last seen in her John Grey High School uniform, white shirt, dark blue long pants and black shoes. Her hair was styled in long single braids at the time. All attempts to locate the teen have proven futile. She is not believed to have stayed in the Bodden Town district; therefore, an island-wide search has been launched in an effort to locate her.
Police are encouraging anyone who may have seen Tashaena Williams to call 9-1-1 immediately with as much information as possible. Tashaena is being encouraged to attend the nearest police station as soon as possible for her own safety. The RCIPS is also reminding the public that anyone who harbours or conceals a young person is guilty of an offence and is liable, on conviction, to be fined $2000 and to imprisonment for three months.
A Photograph of Tashaena Williams is attached for reference.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the missing teen is encouraged to call the Bodden Town Police Station at 927-2220 or the M.A.S.H. Unit at 649-6000.
