MoET Invites Applications for Local Scholarships

The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) is accepting applications for Local Scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. These scholarships provide financial assistance to eligible Caymanians to pursue further education at registered institutions within the Cayman Islands.

Applications close at 11:59 pm on Thursday, 30 April 2026.

The Local Scholarships programme covers tuition and study-related expenses for students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes at registered local tertiary institutions, and those pursuing post-secondary qualifications (A-Levels, CAPE, IB, BTEC).
