Mourant advises on creation of new $250 million SPAC

Leading legal and governance services firm, Mourant has advised prominent private equity firm, L Catterton Singapore PTE Limited on the establishment of a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) with a $250 million fundraising target.

L Catterton is the largest consumer-focused private equity group in the world, and this latest fundraising will see it focus on the Asia markets.

The Mourant team that provided the full range of offshore formation and advisory services for the establishment of the issuer and sponsor vehicles in the Cayman Islands was led by Partner Alex Last, along with Senior Associates Rhiannon Williams and Chris Nixon.
