The National Museum Audiovisual Theatre and Galleries open on Monday, 20 July from 9am – 3pm and will remain closed on weekends.

The Museum is committed to the Health & Wellbeing of our Visitors, Members, Volunteers, and Staff. We are reopening with protective COVID-19 measures in place:

All Visitors and Staff are required to wear face masks.

All Persons temperatures will be taken upon entry.

Social distancing signage is in place.

Social distancing is required.

Hand sanitizing stations are positioned in the Shop and throughout the Museum allowing our Visitors to practice good hygiene from entry to exit of the buildings.

Periodic, Hourly and the End-of-Day Sanitizing of the Shop & Galleries will help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We are looking forward to seeing you all soon! We dearly value our Museum Members, Visitors, and Staff, and will continue to keep you abreast of Museum news through email and social media in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, we will continue to monitor, assess, and adjust our phased reopening, and plan to engage you — when appropriate — in our Group Activities & Programmes—with guidance and recommendations from the CIG, Health Service Authority and the Hazard Management Control Unit. Be Safe & Thank You for your vital support of the Cayman Islands National Museum!
