Police Arrest Man in Relation to George Town Burglary Incident

Just before 7AM on Wednesday, 5 July, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Unit to a report of a Burglary that took place at a business establishment located on Fort Street in George Town.

It was reported that the business was discovered to have been broken into at the time of opening and several items were reported to have been stolen, including bottles of liquor, cigarette cartons, a small quantity of cash and other items.

One man, age 32, of George Town, was arrested in relation to this incident and has since been formally charged with Burglary. He is expected to appear in court today, Monday 10 July, 2023.
