Police Conduct Day of Action in Cayman Brac
Police/Court
27 November 2025, 05:05 AM

This past Thursday and Friday, officers in Cayman Brac were joined by officers from Customs & Border Control, along with additional police officers from Grand Cayman, for a high-visibility day of action, targeting illegal activity on the island. Officers conducted patrols and checks in various areas, ensuring police presence was felt.

During the operation, officers had cause to conduct a search of two persons of interest, and recovered a quantity of suspected crack cocaine and ganja, along with $31,000 CI in cash, suspected to be from the sale of illegal drugs, namely cocaine and ganja. The men, age 42 and 43, both residing in Cayman Brac, were arrested on suspicion of possession and consumption of cocaine and ganja, and other drug-related offenses. Both men have been granted bail as police conduct further investigations.

Going forward, members of the public can expect to see similar days of action on a regular basis, continuing our collaborative approach to combatting illegal activities in the Sister Islands.
