This past long weekend, officers responded to three incidents of burglaries at commercial premises.

The first burglary occurred at a storage warehouse on Goring Avenue, and was discovered on Saturday, 1 July. Persons gained entry to the warehouse by damaging the door, and stole construction tools and a generator.

The other two burglaries were discovered on the morning of Monday, 3 July.

One incident occurred at a waterfront bar on South Church Street, where a small storage room was broken into and several cases of beverages, along with a leaf blower, were taken. The other occurred at a beach bar on West Bay Road, south of Lizard Run Drive, where the culprits gained entry to the store room by damaging the lock. They stole several bottles of liquor, and a safe containing a quantity of cash.

The incidents are under investigation by George Town CID, and anyone with information is asked to contact 949-4222.
