Police Investigate Robbery in Bodden Town

Shortly after 9:45PM yesterday, 14 June, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a service station on Bodden Town Road. It was reported that a masked man dressed in dark clothing had entered the establishment, brandishing what appeared to be a machete, and demanded money. He then fled the location on foot with a quantity of cash, toward the rear of the service station, in the direction of Manse Road.

 

No one was injured during the incident.

 

The suspect is described as being of slim build, and was wearing a black hooded shirt, face mask, and dark pants.

 

The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Bodden Town CID at 947-2220.
