Police Investigate Serious Collision in Savannah

Soon after 2:30pm 2 January, police and emergency services were dispatched to a report of a two vehicle accident in the vicinity of Homestead Crescent and Shamrock Road, Savannah.

One man was trapped in a vehicle. The Fire Service extracted him, and he and two other persons involved in the collision were transported to the George Town Hospital for treatment.

One man is in critical condition and the two other persons are in serious but non-life threatening condition.

The collision is being investigated by the police.  The road has been reopened.
