Police Investigate Serious Single-Vehicle Collision on Shamrock Road

Shortly before 2:00AM today, 4 October, officers responded to a serious single-vehicle collision on Shamrock Road, in the vicinity of Impulse Close, involving a red Honda Integra. The Honda was travelling westbound when it left the roadway and collided with a utility pole.

Emergency services attended the location and the lone occupant was extracted from the vehicle by Fire Service officers, and transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital via ambulance. She remains in hospital in critical condition.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Traffic & Roads Policing Unit. The roadway in the area was partially closed for a period of time but has since been fully re-opened.
