Police Investigate Stolen Vehicle Involved in a Collision

Just before 9PM on Wednesday 19 July, police was dispatched to an address on South Church Street where it was reported that a Silver Chevy Trax was stolen from the location. Officers attended and did a search for the vehicle , however, they were unable to locate it at that time. An all-points-bulletin was aired for all officers to be on the lookout for the stolen vehicle throughout the tour.

Just after 2AM, today 20 July, police were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle collision on Seaview Road, East End. When the officers arrived, they identified the vehicle as the one that was aired as being stolen from the George Town address. There were no occupants in the vehicle at the time of their arrival and no one was found in the surrounding area.

The vehicle was transported from the location and recovered as evidence and these incidents are being investigated by the police.
