Police Respond to Call of Suspicion Activity in Fairbanks Areas of George Town

Just before 4 PM Thursday, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of suspicious activity in the Fairbanks area of George Town. It was reported that two young males were seen with what appeared to be guns in their hands walking around the area.

The Firearm Response Unit attended the location, saw and spoke to 2 male juveniles who had gel blasters in that area. It was established that these were the persons seen by the members of the public and they were spoken to by the police along with their parents.

There was no offense detected by the police concerning this call.
