On Saturday 4th September, an Auxiliary Constable with the RCIPS was arrested on suspicion of allegedly perverting the course of justice in relation to an ongoing criminal investigation.

The officer was suspended from all police related duties until further notice and is on police bail as the criminal investigation continues.
