Residents of the Cayman Islands can now choose to collect their renewed drivers’ licences from their post office. This new free service, offered in partnership with the Cayman Islands Postal Service, is available at all post offices across all three Islands.

Licence renewals can be completed in person at any of the Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing (DVDL) locations or online. To receive their driver's licenses via mail, customers should send an email to DVDL.Helpdesk@gov.ky  requesting delivery. Drivers will be given the option to choose post office collection and will be informed via text or WhatsApp when it is ready for collection.

All items not collected or delivered within 15 days of posting shall be processed for return-to-sender.

Customers are reminded that they can renew both vehicle and drivers’ licences online via DVDL’s website at https://www.dvdl.gov.ky.
