Requirement to advertise jobs before submitting Temporary Work Permits Repealed by Cabinet

The campaign launched by Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC) last month announcing that advertising on JobsCayman would soon be required before submitting Temporary Work Permit applications has been repealed and the requirement scheduled to come into effect today, no longer stands until further notice.

Progress continues on preparing the new online system and WORC is committed to improving processing times through the implementation of efficient processes and internal systems.
