CPR Cayman is pleased to announce our guest speakers for the Referendum Campaign Launch: Historian and Author Dr Roy Bodden, former Director of Tourism Mrs Angela Martins, the Central Caribbean Marine Institute, Radio personality and entrepreneur Ms Ruthanna Young, MLA for Bodden West Mr Chris Saunders and MLA for George Town Central Mr Kenneth Bryan.

The campaign launch takes place tomorrow Wednesday 20th November at 6:30pm at Celebration Park in down town George Town (beside the Court House). Parking is available in the vicinity.

The public are invited to participate in this historic moment as we approach Cayman’s first People’s Initiated Referendum.

Our guest speakers bring considerable experience and expertise to be able to speak to the significant environmental, financial and socio-economic concerns surrounding the proposed cruise berthing facility.

With just 4 weeks to the referendum date, all are urged to get informed and to come out to vote in record numbers to make your voices heard on December 19th. Caymanians now have an opportunity to control their destiny via the Referendum on this issue of national importance.

CPR Cayman is a concerned citizens group and non-profit organisation that is advocating for a democratic approach to the proposed Cruise Berthing and Cargo Facility ("CBF") in George Town harbour.
