The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism Offers Customer Service Training with COVID-19 Focus

The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) invites members of the public in customer-facing jobs to register for a free training session, “Aquila Service Excellence: COVID-19 Edition.” The training, offered in partnership with Aquila, will provide guidance on how to interact with customers while adhering to COVID-19 suppression measures. The sessions will be held every Wednesday in October, starting on 6 October. The 90-minute session can be attended virtually via Zoom and there will be limited availability for an in-person option.
The training sessions will take place on the following dates and times:

6 October 2021, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

13 October 2021, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM

20 October 2021, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

27 October 2021, 11:30 PM – 3:00 PM

Topics that will be covered during the sessions include:

Communicating while wearing masks,

Fostering connections while social distancing,

Touchless engagement and interactivity,

Sanitization as great service,

Encouraging customers compliance, and

Managing difficult situations.

Interested persons can learn more and register at aquila.ourcayman.ky. The deadline to register is the Monday prior to each session.
