Third Meeting of the 2025-2026 Session to Commence on 5th November 2025

The Third Meeting of the 2025-2026 Session of Parliament is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 5th November 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the House of Parliament. During the meeting, Members of Parliament (MPs) are expected to debate the national budget, a key component of the Government’s legislative and fiscal agenda. The Meeting will also include the introduction of five Bills, namely: the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Bill, 2025; Beneficial Ownership Transparency (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 2025; Submarine Cable (Telecommunications Resilience) Bill, 2025; Immigration (Transition) (Amendment and Validation) Bill, 2025; and the Appropriation (Financial Years 2026 and 2027) Bill, 2025. Several Annual Reports from various Government Ministries and Departments are expected to be Tabled. In addition, Government Motions for this Meeting are still being finalised. The deadline for the submission of Motions to the Parliament Office was Tuesday, 28th October 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Members of the public are invited to follow the proceedings live via the Government’s YouTube channel, CIGTV cable network, and Radio Cayman. Those wishing to attend in person may do so at the House of Parliament, following registration with Security upon arrival.
