Three Migrants Repatriated to Cuba

The Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) repatriated three (3) migrants to the Republic of Cuba on Thursday, 1 June 2023.

The three male migrants were accompanied by Customs & Border Control Officers and departed Grand Cayman on a non-chartered Cayman Airways flight at approximately 6:00pm.

CBC Director Charles Clifford said “Thank you to our CBC officers for executing another successful operation.”

Since January 2023, seventy four (74) migrants have been repatriated. Additional repatriation flights will be arranged as processing continues.
