Maples and Calder, the Maples Group’s law firm, has announced the admission of Caymanians Ryann Clarke and Michael Mclaughlin Murillo as Attorneys-at-Law in the Cayman Islands. After successfully progressing through the firm's Articles of Clerkship programme, Ryann and Michael will join the Finance and Corporate teams, respectively, as Associates.
Their admissions were moved before The Honourable Justice Marlene Carter by Dispute Resolution & Insolvency Partner Quentin Cregan. The occasion marks an important milestone in their individual legal careers and underscores the Maples Group's long-standing commitment to supporting Caymanian lawyers from education and training through to qualification.
Both have developed their legal careers with the firm through hands-on training, mentorship and exposure to sophisticated local and international matters. Their progression reflects the importance of creating clear pathways for aspiring Caymanian lawyers to gain meaningful experience and build long-term careers in the jurisdiction.
