UPDATE: Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder

Police can now confirm the identity of the deceased in the fatal shooting which took place on Martin Drive, George Town, on Thursday, 1 July. He is Mark Andre Ebanks, age 36 of George Town.

The RCIPS expresses condolences to the family of the deceased.

On 6 July, a man, age 31 of George Town, has been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the incident. He remains in custody as investigations continue.

One of the victims remains in hospital in stable condition.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the incident, especially anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Martin Drive and Ms Frances Street at around 11:00PM on Thursday, 1 July. Such persons are asked to contact the RCIPS Major Incident Room at 649-2930.
