UPDATE: Man Charged in Relation to April 2025 Fatal Collision Involving Cyclist, 25 March

The man, age 34, residing in Bodden Town, who was arrested in relation to the fatal collision on 21 April 2025, on Bodden Town Road, has been formally charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving, driving a Vehicle While under the Influence of Alcohol thereby Causing Death, and Dangerous Driving.

He appeared in court today, 25 March 2026, and has been bailed pending a further appearance on Thursday, 2 April 2026.

UPDATE: Police Confirm Identity of Cyclist Involved in Fatal Collision, 22 April

Police can confirm the identity of the deceased involved in the fatal collision involving a vehicle that collided with a cyclist, that occurred just before 6AM, yesterday morning, Monday 21 April.

He is Per Undheim, a 39-year-old Norwegian national, who resides in Savannah.

The RCIPS expresses condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The matter remains under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Bodden Town Police Station at 947-2220.
