With the 2026 Dart Under 13 Girls’ and CYFL Under 16 Boys’ competitions concluding in the next few weeks, the Appleby Under 18 High School Football Leagues take centre stage.

In what were two very exciting 2025 Champions Cup finals, Cayman Prep’s boys edged out St. Ignatius Catholic 1-0 at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex and at the Annex Field, CIS’ young ladies needed a sudden death penalty shootout (1-1 full time; 5-5 penalties; 1-0 sudden death penalties) to end Cayman Prep’s chances of a 2025 double.

In the boy’s competition, Cayman Prep’s passage to the championship included a 2-0 semi final victory over CIS White while St. Ignatius Catholic downed Clifton Hunter High School (CHHS) 6-4 after a thrilling penalty shootout (2-2 full time; 4-2 penalties).

In the girl’s competition, CIS defeated St. Ignatius Catholic 6-0 while CIS beat CHHS 7-2 in the semi finals. In the 2025 Boys’ Consolation Cup final, CIFEC retained their 2024 title defeating CIS Blue 4-2 at the Annex Field.
