On Monday, 8 June, shortly before 7:00PM, police and emergency services responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on South Sound Road in George Town.
It is reported that two men were travelling on a registered e-bike when the rider lost control of the e-bike and both men fell off.
Both men were attended to by emergency services before being transported to the Anthony S. Eden Hospital for treatment, and are reported to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
A blood specimen was requested from the rider, a man age 33 residing in George Town, and he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The incident remains under investigation by the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit.
