On Wednesday, 13 May, officers in Cayman Brac arrested a 48-year-old man of a Spot Bay address following investigations into a report of burglary.
It was reported that at approximately 9:00AM on Tuesday, 12 May, a man unlawfully entered a residential premises in Spot Bay through a rear window. Several items were later reported missing from the residence.
Officers conducted searches in and around the Spot Bay area and subsequently arrested the man, who was also being sought by the Cayman Brac Police in relation to other offences.
He was later transported to Grand Cayman, where he appeared before the court on Tuesday, 19 May, and was formally charged with Burglary and Criminal Trespass.
The man was remanded in custody pending a further court appearance on 21 May. He remains under investigation in relation to other reported offences
