The International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI) was pleased to participate in the recent Cayman Islands Society of Human Resources Professionals (CISHRP) Conference held last Friday, where attendees had the opportunity to enter an ICCI raffle for a special professional development prize.
The raffle winner, Kristie Archer, was awarded 50% off tuition for ICCI’s SHRM Preparation Course, designed to help human resources professionals prepare for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification examination. The next SHRM Prep Course is offered in February 2027.
Kristie Archer is an ICCI alum who earned her Master of Science in Human Resources Management in 2022.
SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, is the leading human resources professional association in the United States and is recognized globally for setting standards of excellence in the HR profession. SHRM certifications demonstrate expertise in human resource management and help professionals advance their careers and leadership capabilities.
ICCI offers the SHRM Preparation Course to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully prepare for the SHRM certification exam. The course provides comprehensive coverage of the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (SHRM BASK™), helping candidates build confidence as they work toward earning a respected HR credential.
Participants should note that the SHRM certification examination is administered separately by SHRM; at off-island sites. Candidates are responsible for registering for and paying the examination fees directly through SHRM at SHRM.org.
"We are pleased to congratulate Kristie Archer on winning this valuable opportunity," said Dr. John Cummings, Interim President of ICCI. "Human resources professionals play a critical role in organizational success, and ICCI is proud to support their professional growth through our SHRM Preparation Course. "We appreciate the opportunity to engage with HR leaders and practitioners at the CISHRP Conference and look forward to helping more professionals achieve SHRM certification and advance their careers."
ICCI remains committed to providing quality educational and professional development opportunities that support workforce development and lifelong learning throughout the Cayman Islands.
