The International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI) proudly celebrated the achievements of 41 graduates during its 53rd Annual Commencement Ceremony recently, recognizing students who earned associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees across a range of disciplines.
The Class of 2026 included 20 graduates at the associate degree level, 14 at the bachelor's degree level, and seven at the master's degree level, reflecting ICCI's continued commitment to developing skilled professionals and leaders for the Cayman Islands and beyond.
The master's degree graduates represented some of ICCI's most advanced programs. Three students earned the Master of Science in Management Consulting, marking a historic milestone as the first cohort to graduate since the introduction of the degree program. The college also celebrated one graduate of the Master of Science in Human Resources Management and three graduates of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
At the bachelor's degree level, ICCI awarded degrees to six graduates in Business Administration, two in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, one in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, one in Business and Information Technology, two in Finance, one in Liberal Studies, and one in Accounting.
The Accounting graduate, Nadine Edano, was named Valedictorian of the Class of 2026 in recognition of her outstanding academic excellence with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Among the associate degree graduates were 11 students who earned Associate of Science degrees in Business Administration, one in Business, one in Business and Information Technology, one in General Studies, two in Finance, and four in Accounting. Accounting remains one of the most in-demand professions globally, providing graduates with diverse career opportunities in public accounting, corporate finance, auditing, taxation, and business leadership.
The graduation ceremony highlighted the perseverance, dedication, and academic excellence demonstrated by students who balanced their studies with professional, family, and community responsibilities.
Dr. John Cummings, Interim President of ICCI, congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments.
"Today we celebrate more than academic achievement; we celebrate determination, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence,” he said. "Each graduate has invested in their future and demonstrated a commitment to lifelong learning. We are especially proud of the inaugural graduates of our Master of Science in Management Consulting program, whose success reflects ICCI's commitment to offering innovative and relevant degree programs that meet the evolving needs of the workforce. On behalf of the faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees, I extend heartfelt congratulations to every member of the Class of 2026 and wish them continued success in their careers and communities."

ICCI’s classes are offered online and are held in the evening hours to accommodate students who work full time jobs.
Keynote speaker was the Hon. Franz Manderson, Deputy Governor and Head of the Civil Service. He delivered an inspirational and dynamic speech to ICCI’s Class of 2026, his last graduation speech before he retires from public service.
Ms. Healther Bodden,Parliamentary Secretary, read the Minster of Education and Training, Hon. Rolston Anglin’s speech to the graduates.
Student speaker was Valedictorian Nadine Edano who praised her parents and grandparents for how they raised her in the Philippines to excel at all levels of her education.
