It was reported that, shortly after 11:30PM, two unmasked males attended the premises. One of the men, who is believed to have been carrying a handgun, demanded and stole cash from the register and from a victim present at the location.
The two suspects fled the location shortly after. No injuries were reported. Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area, and collected evidence to support the investigation.
The following night, 28 April, police officers responded to a report of a panic alarm being activated at a food establishment on Lawrence Boulevard. It was reported that the establishment had been robbed by an unmasked male.
