This session marks the second training being offered since the certification became mandatory on October 1, 2025, for individuals working in any ECCE center. The training initiative aims to strengthen safety awareness and promote best practices in health and environmental safety across educational facilities for young children.

Participants will receive instruction on essential workplace health, hygiene and safety practices, helping to ensure safer environments for children, staff, and visitors within the school compounds.

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive certification that is valid for three (3) years, and persons. Failure to comply with this DEH requirement may result in individuals not being permitted to operate/work in these facilities.

The training runs from 9:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the George Town Public Library (Historic), Ground Floor.  Parking is extremely limited at the George Town Library. Options for parking include carpooling/busing or being drop off.  Parking is also available off Elgin Avenue across from the Government Administration Building, in the Government Administration Building Visitors parking. Attendees can park and enjoy a short walk to the library.
