Tortuga Speaks to Robbery

Tortuga Rum Company confirms that an incident involving a robbery took place on the evening of February 3 at the Tortuga Fine Wine & Spirits location at Country Corner in Savannah.

 

We are thankful to report that all team members are safe and were not physically harmed. Our employees on duty responded with professionalism under difficult circumstances. Immediate support has been arranged for those affected, and we continue to collaborate closely with the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) as their investigation proceeds.

 

“Our people come first,” Eugene Nolan, Chief Executive Officer, Tortuga Rum Company, said. “We are ensuring our team receives the care and assistance they need. I’d also like to express our gratitude to the RCIPS for their rapid response. We are fully supporting them in their efforts to identify and hold those responsible accountable.”
