Enterprise Cayman, the non-profit powered by Cayman Enterprise City (CEC), has officially welcomed 18 ventures to the Launch Labs Incubator, following an intensive opening retreat in Grand Cayman that brought together founders, mentors, and programme leaders from the Cayman Islands and overseas.
Powered by DMZ, one of the world’s leading startup incubators, the 14-week Launch Labs Incubator is designed to help founders strengthen their ventures, accelerate commercialisation, and prepare for investment and scalable growth.
The inaugural cohort brings together Cayman-based entrepreneurs and international founders across a diverse range of industries and business models, including artificial intelligence, digital health and MedTech, financial and investment technology, safety and mobility, compliance solutions, consumer marketplaces and emerging technologies. The programme is designed to create new opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration and connections between Cayman’s entrepreneurial community and global innovation networks.
DMZ representatives travelled from Toronto to Grand Cayman to lead the programme’s opening retreat, held 1–3 September, providing participants with an intensive introduction to the programme, peer-to-peer engagement, strategic workshops, and structured planning for the months ahead.
The Opening Week also included opportunities for participants to connect with members of Cayman’s business, technology, and investment communities before transitioning into the programme’s virtual curriculum.

Bringing these communities together creates opportunities that extend well beyond this initial 14-week programme.”
Running from 1 September to 4 December 2026, the Launch Labs Incubator combines weekly workshops, structured milestones, dedicated mentorship and founder activities covering four core areas: strategic foundations, go-to-market and sales, financial and growth strategy, and execution and investor readiness.
Participants will work with experienced mentors and advisors to validate their business models, strengthen customer and growth strategies, develop sustainable financial models and build compelling investor pitches.

Following the opening retreat, participating founders will continue through a structured series of weekly virtual workshops, mentor meetings, milestone reviews and optional in-person activities in Grand Cayman. Each team will receive access to DMZ’s international network of mentors, advisors and startup expertise, alongside curated connections within Cayman’s business and investment community.
Participants will also receive a one-year membership to Launch Labs Studios, Enterprise Cayman’s startup and co-working community, as well as membership in the Cayman Islands Venture Founders Society (CIVFS).
The cohort will reconvene in Grand Cayman in December for peer-to-peer feedback sessions, an intensive pitch retreat and the programme’s culminating Angel Investor Pitch Event on 3 December 2026. Participants will present their ventures to an invited audience that includes members of the Cayman Islands Investment Angel Society (CIIAS) and other prospective investors and ecosystem partners.
