Police/Court, General
24 February 2026, 04:45 PM

Just after 6:15AM on Monday, 24 February 2026, police responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at the Chrissie Tomlinson roundabout off Shamrock Road. The incident involved a white Toyota HiAce and a blue Subaru Legacy.

According to initial reports, the white Toyota HiAce was travelling around the roundabout in the direction of Shamrock Road when a blue Subaru Legacy entered the roundabout from the East-West Arterial. The Subaru collided with the rear of the Toyota HiAce, causing the HiAce to overturn and temporarily obstruct traffic until the roadway was cleared.

The driver of the Toyota HiAce sustained what appeared to be a minor injury to his right elbow but declined medical attention at the scene. The driver of the Subaru Legacy did not report any injuries to police.

During the roadside investigation, officers discovered that the driver of the Subaru Legacy had allegedly committed additional road traffic offences. As a result, the man, age 23, who resides in Bodden Town, was arrested on suspicion of careless driving, driving without insurance, and using a vehicle without a certificate of roadworthiness. He was taken into custody and subsequently bailed pending further investigations.

The collision remains under investigation by the police
