Tourism Matters: New Growth Matters Video Explores Cayman’s Tourism Economy

The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT), is proud to announce the upcoming release of "Tourism Matters," the third animated video in the Growth Matters public education series.

Set to launch this week, Tourism Matters delves into the vital role that tourism plays in Cayman's economy, highlighting how it fuels job creation, supports local businesses, strengthens infrastructure, and helps preserve Cayman's unique cultural and natural assets.

"Tourism has a proven track record to stimulate economic growth in the Cayman Islands," said Rosa Harris, Director of Tourism. "This video highlights how the benefits of tourism extend beyond airport activity and hotel room stays. The added value that compounds for those who serve the industry includes our artisans and chefs, our tour guides and taxi drivers; tourism positively impacts lives in every district across our islands."
