Vanguard Risk Solutions recently sponsored 10 University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) Business students, providing them the opportunity to attend the 2026 RF Cayman Economic Outlook (RFEO) Conference, held on 11 February 2026 at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa in Grand Cayman.
The RFEO Conference is the Cayman Islands' premier annual business and economic forum, attracting over 300 delegates each year. This year's theme, "AI Tsunami: Navigating the Surge of Intelligent Innovation," brought together world-leading speakers including Global Top 25 Futurist and Amazon Prime host Ian Khan to tackle how AI, automation, and exponential technologies are reshaping industries, finance, and global competitiveness. It was precisely this calibre of conversation that led Vanguard Risk Solutions to act, ensuring 10 talented UCCI Business students had a seat at the table.
"We were incredibly proud to sponsor 10 bright business students from UCCI for this year's RF CEO Conference. The future of Cayman business deserves a front-row seat. This wasn't just a sponsorship it was about ensuring talented young Caymanians had a seat at the table. Giving students access to high-level conversations on innovation, leadership, and the future of business helps bridge the gap between education and real-world impact. These experiences shape perspective, spark ambition, and build confidence." said Andrea Balderamos, CEO, Vanguard Risk Solutions.
The initiative was warmly received by UCCI leadership. Belinda Blesitt Vincent, UCCI Dean of Business and Finance, expressed her appreciation on behalf of the faculty and students:
"I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Vanguard Risk Solutions for this incredible opportunity. The RFCEO Conference has truly become a cornerstone of the Cayman business and economic landscape. Our faculty and students eagerly anticipate this invitation each year, and they leave every interaction brimming with a renewed zest for knowledge."
Vanguard Risk Solutions believes that investing in education and access is one of the most impactful contributions a business can make to its community. By connecting UCCI students with Cayman's leading financial and business minds, the company hopes to inspire the next generation of Caymanian leaders and help close the gap between the classroom and the boardroom.
